Carter
Carter and Flora have been working together at the Excavation
site for quite some time, so it's only natural that there might be a little
romantic spark between them. Carter seems very serious about his work but he becomes
joyous when Flora finds something new for him to discover. He is not a big fan
of her horrible cooking skills.

Gray
You can talk
to Gray by calling Blacksmith Saibara on your telephone, but he will come to
visit the valley every Thursday when the blacksmith shop is closed. He spends a
lot of time at the excavation site with Carter and Flora. Since he's already
there you can just skip into one of the mines, find and ore, and give it to him
without any time passage.

Gustafa
Gustafa is a
free-spirited man who roams around the village. He lives in the yurt near
Daryl's laboratory. It has a bunch of knick-knacks and a couple of instruments,
so it's very colourful on the inside. You can sometimes find him playing his
guitar. He first moved to Forget-Me-Not while he was travelling. He had been
too many places, but claimed that none was more beautiful and in sync with
nature than Forget-Me-Not Valley. He's kind and loves to play music for anyone
who takes the time to listen. He’s often described as a hippie, with his love
of flowers and music, and is almost always in a good mood. You can usually find
him by the Turtle Pond, by Vesta’s farm or in the bar (during the evenings)

Kai
During the Summer season, Kai will
arrive in the valley, even if you haven't inserted your FoMT or MFoMT game into
the DS' GBA slot. This makes him more accessible than the other Mineral Town
boys. He works at a little shack called the Snack Shack. There, he cooks dishes
for others to eat, but of course they have to pay. He's a talented cook and is
very outgoing. The reason he only comes during the summer, is because he likes
to travel the world during the other seasons.

Marlin
Marlin is Vesta's brother. His family's farm used to be
located near the city, but they moved to Forget-Me-Not Valley in search of more
land. He, his sister, and a young girl named Celia, work together on the farm.
Unknown to Celia, Marlin has a small crush on her, but there is the chance that
you’re able to change his mind. He may seem grumpy at first, but if you become
good enough friends, he'll open up to you. Marlin also seems to have some sort
of illness, and as a result he always stays inside in the rain. He’s rather bitter
about it, but Vesta and Celia insist.

Rick
Rick isn't that outgoing, but he's not really shy either. He
only comes to visit on Sundays, that way he can keep an eye on his little
sister, Popuri. He's very protective of both his mother, Lillia, and his
younger sister, ever since their father left. His mother is an ill woman, who
runs a poultry farm back in Mineral Town. The reason their father left, was so
that he could find a flower to cure Lillia, but he's yet to return. Rick
considers Kai an enemy, due to the fact that Popuri likes him.

Trent is the
doctor of Mineral Town. He comes to visit every Wednesday, when the clinic is
closed. Travelling alongside him to Forget-me-not, is his nurse, Elli. Both of

Griffin
Griffin is a nice man who likes to play his guitar in his
spare time; but he also owns the Blue Bar. It was passed down from generation
to generation, until he eventually inherited it. He has his own little abode in
the back of the bar, with just a simple table, chairs, and bed setting with
wooden walls and floors, while his guitar sits in the corner. When Muffy moved
out of the city and came to Forget-Me-Not, he gave her a place to stay and a
job as well, so she now inhabits a spare room in the back of the bar. If you
befriend him he often talks about his ancestors, and how he realized they built
the bar in the Valley because it just doesn’t fit in with the atmosphere of the
city.

Rock
Description:
Rock is the son of Ruby and Tim, although he looks nothing like them. His
father, Tim, went away, and still has yet to return. This causes his mother to
worry. Oddly enough, it doesn't bother Rock. He is extremely outgoing, and
thinks very highly of his looks and class. He can be very obnoxious, often
thinking that any girl would just swoon over him. Since he thinks so highly of
himself, he is often seen flirting with any girl he finds pretty, especially
Lumina. Rock can sometimes be quite aggravating, as at one point he says that
since you can run a farm surely it cannot be too hard and he should be able to
do it. He also refuses to help his mother out around Inner Inn, which she now
runs herself without Tim (who never shows up in this game, but is in others).
Nami, who is a permanent resident of the Inn often helps out Ruby when Rock
won’t. He has never worked in his life.
